Cloudforia Privacy Policy

Cloudforia (“Cloudforia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at www.cloudforia.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Cloudforia is a Salesforce implementation partner operating as a fully remote business. We are incorporated in Wyoming and maintain business nexus in a number of U.S. states. Our mailing address is 28039 Scott Road, Suite D-194, Murrieta, CA 92563, USA.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Scope

This policy covers information collected through the Site only. It does not cover data we process on behalf of our clients while delivering consulting services — that data is governed by the individual agreements (including any Master Services Agreement and applicable data protection terms) we sign with those clients.

Information we collect

Information you submit to us. The Site does not require you to create an account or log in. The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to provide when you submit a form on the Site — for example, a contact or inquiry form. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, company name, phone number, and any details you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. We do not place cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels, or other tracking technologies on the Site. However, our web hosting provider, which is located in San Diego, California, automatically records basic web traffic information in server logs — such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the date and time of each request. This information is used to operate, secure, and maintain the Site. We do not use it to identify or build profiles of individual visitors.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not include it in form submissions.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

  • respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about your request;
  • provide information about our services that you have asked for;
  • maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the following legal bases: your consent (which you give by submitting a form), our legitimate interests in responding to your inquiry and operating the Site securely, and, where applicable, compliance with a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Cookies and tracking

The Site does not use cookies, web beacons, analytics, or advertising or retargeting technologies. Because we do not track visitors, the Site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only in limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to operate the Site and our business — for example, our website host and our email provider. They may process your information only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If Cloudforia is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data retention

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for business and legal recordkeeping, after which we delete or anonymize the information. You may ask us to delete your information sooner (see “Your rights” below).

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers

Cloudforia is based in the United States, and our vendors may be located in the United States and other countries, including India. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and potentially other jurisdictions, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where required for transfers of personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information.

United States (California and other states). If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and others), you may have the right to: know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it; access a copy of that information; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling, there is no need to opt out of those activities.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access your personal information; correct inaccurate information; request erasure (“right to be forgotten”); restrict or object to our processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

How to exercise your rights

To make any of these requests, email us at contact@cloudforia.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated version on the Site. Material changes will be made clearly visible.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy and any dispute relating to it are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
